steamworks robotics workshop

Through an extremely generous donation, STEAMWORKS and MegaHurtz Robotics have received a new building to house the workshop. The approximately 40' x 60' space is located on Carrol St. in Buchanan. Our space shares the same building as Buchanan Scarecrow Charities.
Construction of the new building began this spring. The new space will be large enough for 20 students and allows for an education/conference area that is clean and quiet for design work and team building. We have a dedicated space for 3D printing, electronics and programming. The large open space will be completely modular taking the team through the design phase, construction and then practice where all major construction tools can be easily cleared from the floor to make room for a half-size FRC competition field. STEAMWORKS acts as the financial partner for teams using the workshop and will be responsible for paying for utilities such as electric, water and gas. We're looking for like minded individuals and community partnerships to sustain the facility through reoccurring contributions. Help us keep the lights on! |

Lake Michigan STEAMWORKS is a Michigan non for profit 501(c)(3)* charitable education organization dedicated to the engagement of students grades K through 12 in STEAM or (S)cience, (T)echnology, (E)ngineering, (A)rts and (M)athematics. We are based in Berrien County, Michigan and support local FIRST teams.
